‎”Love is seeing an imperfect person perfectly.. and he is far from being perfect. But there’s something about him that captivates my heart.What’s so good about him anyway? Is it his radiant smile? His charisma? Maybe it’s his attractive face? I don’t know. But..I’m falling.. hard.

In my opinion, the story is really really good! To be short, it’s about a girl who acted as a “fake girlfriend” to a boy so that the boy would get his ex-girlfriend back. And eventually, the girl and boy fell in love to each other. You may think that it’s a simple and the usual story but it’s not! It was full of tension with some really amusing twists in the story and every page makes me just keeps on reading every word and every sentence. And then whenever I stop because I need to sleep already, my mind just keeps like imagining and seems that it wants me to continue reading the story. Okay, might sound weird. But that’s how I feel whenever I stop reading it. The story brought the old high school self in me once again. The old self where all I want to do is talk to my classmates and have those kilig moments. At first, I was hesitant in reading it since it was in Filipino(tagalog). Yes, I admit it. Even though I’m a Filipino, I hate reading tagalog/filipino stories since I feel like it can make me go crazy because of those difficult words to understand. But I was wrong. This novel type story was easy to read and to be understood. Once I started from the prologue then chapter one, that’s it! Chapter one captured my attention and kept me going on in reading the story.

Every beast needs a beauty is a story written by Jonaxx, one of the famous writer on the Wattpad world. This story tackles about a love between an average girl meets a popular rich-handsome-cold man. This book was one of Jonaxx’s earlier stories. I thought at first that I already read it but when I checked my Goodreads account, it wasn’t on my read record. So last year, I decided to check the first few pages to know if I really did read it or not. And yes, I didn’t. All the books that I read from hers were her latest works so that explains it. When I read the first few pages of this book, I can’t see any touch of Jonaxx in here. It was really corny and it sounded like your typical cliché and it really irked me at that time. (I’m sorry Jonaxx) But while I was stranded with my mom at the port because of the typhoon (which was really a maddening experience) and I was too busy or you could say too annoy to open my bag and grab the paperback that I chose to bring with me for my holiday, I decided to check my Wattpad instead and this story was the only available story that was saved in my phone offline.

The crazy thing about this book was not the story (though I felt that it was almost there) but my determination to still read it even though I’m almost in the verge of losing my blood (nosebleeding) because it was so corny, which is very far from the Jonaxx that I love. The ending was ofcourse beautiful but we didn’t get the chance to really know what happens to his mother. But oh well, at least it’s still a happy ending. Not my favorite from Jonaxx, but it was still a really good read from Queen Jonaxx.

I couldn’t stop myself comparing this book to DNP at first. DNP has much more ‘kilig factor’ perhaps because of the scenes that Eya and Cross start to feel something—having mutual understanding with each other. Another thing is, despite of her looks, she gets to be attached with rich and handsome boys like Chad and Cross.

There are also some scenarios that make me laugh esp. the ‘malandi’ side of Eya which she as well stated in the book. When I first encountered the book, I was curious as to why it is entitled, Voiceless.But after reading the book, I can now finally say, that I agree with the author. When we voice out our voice of reason/opinion, whether it is the truth or not, we are often ignored by the people around us, because let’s face it, the truth is that, people will only listen to the things they want to hear. They would rather be, be deaf to the truth than to face reality. I like the character of Momo because she has a strong sense of loyalty towards the people she cares about, on the other hand, I kinda disliked Sync’s personality for being to hard headed, but hey who can blame the guy, when he fell in love to a girl who only used him? Not his fault I guess. But seriously, his too blinded when it comes to love.

A place where everything is mysterious, enchanting, bloody, and shitty. entering is the other way of suicidal. Just one wrong move and everything will blur. A lot of secrets are being hid. Not the typical school to have fun. Death is everywhere. Bad, worse, worst, monster and evil are scattered. This book started my search for mystery/thriller books.First chapter intrigue’s me already.It actually twisted my mind a little on the last chapter.And not to mention a little love on the mixture. A really unique wattpad story. The first book that I’ve got from wattpad. I love the story and all the mysteries. But I would’ve wanted it if the romance is in the back seat. The story has a hollow in the ending. However, the plot isn’t that bad. I’d like to say KIB is really good in the mystery genre. I’m left curious and so I turn pages to see what happens next. I liked the characters in this story as well.
